Love of tradition and curiosity for new things, these are the strong points of the Antica Osteria Fiesso and they are also the password for Angelo the chef and proprietor of the restaurant, together with his irreplaceable helper, Chiara. This is the ideal place for business people who visit the international exhibition in Bologna, as it is in a very strategic position not far from the exhibition quarter of the city and the ring road. It is however a peaceful and homely place not only for business lunches and dinners but also for happy evenings with friends or romantic candle lit dinners. The young and friendly new management offers a cuisine which is traditional home cooking. Among the inviting first courses, fresh home-made pasta such as tagliatelle or stuffed pasta and for the main course delicious mixed grills, various meats and Florentine steaks and even fried frogs legs. A must are the “crescentine” with salami and mushrooms in oil or the mixed fried hors d’oeuvres.

The dining room inside can accommodate up to 100 guests and in the summer on the terrace outside another 120. Open for lunch and dinner. Closed on Tuesdays and Saturday lunch time. At the weekends it is advisable to book a table.
